Patagon Journal #31

A special adventure travel edition published in part for Adventure Travel World Summit 2025 held in Puerto Natales, Chile, the main theme of this edition is the Route of Parks in Patagonia, with 25 pages describing some of the many highlights of the region’s parks. 

Also in Issue 31, veteran travel guidebook writer Wayne Bernhardson contributes a story about the past and present of the Magallanes region, with tips on the best places to visit. Camila Rikli writes about veranadas, the traditional herding en masse of thousands of sheep to the high mountain ranges of Patagonia each summer. Our photo essay this issue showcases the outdoor adventure photography of Nicolás Gantz.
